A variety of worship services run from our premises in Bowen Street, Camberwell. Why not take some time in your busy week to spend time with God this Sunday. You are most welcome to come and share with us this Sunday and every Sunday.
SUNDAY WORSHIP TIMES - JANUARY 2018
It's our privilege to present an open invitation to any and all in our community to join us for worship at Camberwell Salvos.
During January only one morning service will be held at 10:00am. We'll be engaged in a series entitled 'Voices: A Summer of Stories'. Come along to hear people share their faith journey and, perhaps, you'd like to share yours too!
There won't be an evening service at our church premises, instead we're heading down to Bowen Gardens Camberwell between 5:00pm - 7:00pm every Sunday in January. BYO food and picnic rug, and join the fun.
We look forward to your company.
9:00am Worship Service
Contemplative in style, this service allows opportunity for reflection and meditation through songs, readings, scripture and a message for daily living – a great way to start the day!
Guests to our services and regular attenders are encouraged to join in a coffee and connection time between 9:45am and 10:00am. During this interval parents and carers of children aged 3-12 years are welcome to check-in their kids as participants in our Explorers Kids Church.
10:15am Worship Service
Family-friendly service with musical support from our contemporary musicians, brass band and choir, scripture readings and a relevant Bible message.
Once per month this service includes participation from the Explorers Kids Church children and a children's story during the first 20-30 minutes before the children go to their own classes.
6:00pm Worship Service
An informal worship service featuring contemporary Christian music, scripture readings, prayer times, opportunities for shared stories/testimonies and a short Bible message, is open for all ages to attend.
Service details for the next month:
To maintain connections with our community services participants, a relaxed, non-threatening worship service introducing Christian faith and principles to those who most need our love and support is held on Friday from 1:00pm at our premises. Everyone is most welcome to attend this service which is followed by a free afternoon tea.
