SongstersSongster Brigades (or choirs) have always played a significant part in Salvation Army ministry and the Camberwell Songsters are no exception with a history that dates back to the 1930’s. The formal mission of the Camberwell Songster Brigade is to sing to the glory of God and for the inspiration of people in Sunday worship services and other occasions and venues. In fulfilling the mission, the brigade sings every week in the 10:00am meeting at the Camberwell Corps and in special services, participates in concerts, visits other Victorian Salvation Army centres and has performed at local external venues such as churches, parks, bowling clubs, hospitals and nursing homes over the years. If you would like to consider singing Christian music with the Songster brigade on a regular basis, we would be very pleased to see you at one of our monthly rehearsals. Sopranos, altos, tenors and basses – all welcome! Personnel
