ExplorersWelcome to the fresh and vibrant children's ministry program EXPLORERS! The unashamed heart of the vision of children's ministries in The Salvation Army Camberwell is to impress upon our children the awesome wonder of our God so that they readily fall in love with Jesus Christ. EXPLORERS is a three-tiered children's ministry program, incorporating Aquanauts (age 3-6), Argonauts (age 7-9) and Cosmonauts (age 10-12). By name and by nature, EXPLORERS really emphasises to children the exciting journey of discovery that is theirs to enjoy through learning about God and His Word. The program, in both its structure and content, draws heavily on biblical truth and the collective wisdom and principles of Christian early childhood education. The learning curriculum EXPLORERS will use the Noah's Park - Adventure Trails That Lead to Jesus! program by David C. Cook Ministries. This is a great curriculum that creatively teaches children essential biblical truths and nurtures them appropriately in their Christian growth. Once per month, in our 10:15am worship service, children in Explorers will participate and engage in a children's story during the first 20-30 minutes before heading out to attend their regular classes. So in summary the three levels of EXPLORERS are: AQUANAUTS (for children aged 3-6) ARGONAUTS (for children aged 7-9) COSMONAUTS (for children aged 10-12) Your children will experience the awesome wonder of God through EXPLORERS program. The EXPLORERS team to teachers and assistants are committed to this aim and you should have every confidence in their ability to teach, role-model and impress Jesus upon your child's heart. And your continued interest and participation in EXPLORERS, especially through your prayers, is greatly valued. ![]()
